As Sales Manager Europe, you are the commercial face of Sealuxe in the Benelux and Germany. You actively build a portfolio of retail accounts — supermarket chains, discounters and buying organisations — while identifying and converting opportunities in the foodservicesector. You work closely with the Senior Sales Manager Europe and the international team in India. Key responsibilities:

  • Active business development with retailers (supermarket chains, discounters, buying organisations) in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Identifying and acquiring new foodservice customers as a secondary growth pillar
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with buyers, category managers and procurement teams
  • Participating in retail tenders and managing the full quotation process
  • Market analysis: tracking price developments, competitive positioning and regional opportunities
  • Close collaboration with supply chain and operations to ensure reliable delivery
  • Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Europe and contributing to the broader European commercial strategy

Sealuxe is the European commercial entity of a major international seafood player, , operating a fully integrated supply chain — from farming and processing to the international distribution of both raw and value-added shrimp products. From their base in Utrecht in The Netherlands, Sealuxe is building a strong and sustainable market presence across Europe — backed by premium product quality, an integrated supply chain and an ambitious growth agenda.
To accelerate their position in the three core markets of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, Sealuxe is looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager with a retail-first mindset, who will simultaneously develop their footprint in foodservice. The culture is pragmatic, commercially driven and entrepreneurial: short lines, direct decision-making, and the agility of a start-up backed by the stability and scale of an international producer.

Job requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in shrimp sales — preferably with direct retail experience in the DACH region or Benelux.

What you bring:

  • Commercial experience in shrimp products
  • Demonstrable trackrecord in retail sales (supermarket chains, discounters or buying organisations)
  • Affinity with and/or experience in foodservice as a complementary market
  • Knowledge of international trade and end-to-end supply chain dynamics
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset — you thrive in a build-up environment
  • Fluency in German and English; Dutch is an advantage
  • Based in the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium
